Some are worth buying, and some you won't know until you actually try the game for yourself.

No matter what I would buy the Paper Mario 3DS and if the next Mario and Luigi game comes out, I'll buy that too. I'll also buy the New Pokemon games, but I wouldn't buy Mario Kart 3DS, since it'll probably just be like any other kart game, unless they add something actually big and important but still keep it in the same Formula.
I guess each person have there own opinions, on what is worth buying and what is not worth buying.

    Yep.
I'm going to definitely be buying all of the classic remakes for sure. :)

Well, I don't care one iota about some big company and their millions of dollars in profit margins. I got screwed out of my job during the artificially created recession and no one gives a crap, and I was the most efficient worker there, so I don't care if some video game company goes out of business, or is otherwise hurt by piracy. There will always be some other company that will rise up to fill the empty space.

I won't bother with a 3DS unless one is given to me (not bloody likely) or it gets hacked to play backups. I will not buy any games for the system. If I can't slurp them up for free from the net, I just won't bother with the system at all. I'll just go with whatever next system that does get hacked.

Buying video games is for suckers IMO, especially when they are available online for free.

And I wouldn't even bother to attempt to argue or convince me otherwise because I really don't care what anyone thinks about my opinions.

If I argue I am going to be a troll ;D I only got one thing to say about your opinion, It sucks and if you are caught for piracy and got sent to jail or get fined, you deserved it >:D People pirate for many reasons and your opinion is the one that has no sense.

    The latest poll on gamefaqs:

    Poll of the Day
How much would you be willing to pay for the 3DS at launch?
    $100 12.56% 1699
    $150 20.61% 2788
    $200 25.82% 3492
    $250 8.38% 1134
    $300, or maybe even more 3.27% 442
    I wouldn't buy it at any price 29.36% 3972
    TOTAL VOTES 13527

So the majority wouldn't buy it at any price.

Anything more than $190 is a ripoff.
Unless it's like a xbox360 in handheld form.

Is it expected to really be that bad?

I heard from the manager at a local GameStop that the 3DS was moved to holiday of this year for the US...not sure though, but he's usually right.

I wanna know why they did it, cuz it's coming out in Japan in september, then why so soon in the U.S.? I can kinda see it as a marketing strategy: kids see it, it's close to Christmas, they get the gimmy-gimmies, parents have the money, 3DS and accompanying games(s) sold.

    That's exactly it.
According to the manager, Nintendo has lost 25% of their sales, so this is the best move they can make right now.

I kinda think they're gonna blame ALL of that on piracy, and not even THINK about shovelware! People only buy what they like!!

It's not only shovelware. It's also the economy. They just need a conduit to blame for the loss so people will buy more of their products.
(Hehe. That's probably not true, but I just wanted to use the word conduit. ;) )
