What Nat said. Say it takes a year to crack. Many games would have been sold within the year, legitimately. That's a lot of profit for all the developers involved.

I wonder if the immense size of the games springs from 2 reasons: The 3D-ness of it all, and possibly to make it harder to stick on a micro sd card

That would not be a valid reason, ROM chips cost far more to make than flash does.

The data can be copy-pasted just fine. As long as the SD card has enough room, it's still possible. The files and whatever programming makes a ROM 3D is still intact and all

I think that 3DS will be hacked but it'll take a long time.My guess:1 year.I figure if you can hack the wii then it'll be not that much of a problem to hackers to hack 3DS.

But wait, since the 3DS is backwards compatible, will the DS flashcards still work on it, or is there something to prevent that from happening?

They most likely won't work at all. The DSi blocked the DS flashcarts, so something will have to be developed if it even can. As stated before, no one knows for sure until it comes out soon.

Eh. Everybody says a thing that turns against them. Perhaps they're right, perhaps it'll be hacked. Who knows until February 26th in Japan.

they're probably going to build in a special chip, if you try to hack or rip your games your games explode :I

Yeah, they should've waited until the day after release to announce that it has "ended" AP. Then, hackers won't have any clue beforehand!!

Or just not have announced it at all. :p
