I'm just saying, Nintendo needs to realize that they can't stop pirating and embrace it (don't know how, but we'll find a way)

So you mean that Nintendo cannot prevent piracy because people will find a way around it?

Unless they make any type of piracy punishable by death, I highly doubt Nintendo will ever find a permanent solution.

Homosexuality is punishable by death under islamic law. Does that mean gay muslims don't exist? no, it means they keep damn quiet about being gay.

Just as Nintendo gets smarter with it's security, hackers get at leas that much smarter with hacking

Anything is possible to hack but the ds was one of the easiest

So you guys are telling me that the 3DS will be hacked, even though Nintendo is saying that it cannot?

No Nintendo system is unhackable. Their anti-piracy has just never been up to par compared with other companies products (that still get cracked anyways).

Who knows. No one does. We won't know until it happens. IF it happens.

If worst comes to worst, it will just be like the DS and just sort of do it's modding through the game slot. Nobody will really know until a hacker that knows what they are doing gets their hands on it.

Once I get a 3DS, I'll keep the firmware low just in case. :3

It auto-updates via Wifi, just to warn you.

But you could always turn off that option. Right?

I'm well aware of the details of the 3DS thus far, I've been keeping track relatively well. I just don't post in here really.

Ok. I didn't know if you knew that or not.
I will probably get one of these with a couple of games when it comes out...though I'm contemplating it still...

If I have money when it comes out, I'll pick one up for sure.

Definitely. I'll start saving some money up for my 360 and this.
