Just about everything has been hacked. Many unfounded claims have been made. I doubt this will be different.

Yep. Supposedly the PS3 was hacked today with a USB Dongle.

The earlier PS3 jailbreak was complicated and not common at all. This USB would make it a lot easier to do.

After they were done programing, did Nintendo use a thing like in Men in Black and "flash" the memory out of them? Haha

I just thought about it now, but if the 3DS is supposed to be "impossible" to hack, then how much ap would be on the games?! It'd most likely be a nightmare!!

Nintendo can only make it more difficult/longer to hack through the AP.They'll continuously use different AP's just to try and stop piracy. But in the end they still fail to realize that there's no such thing as unhackable no matter what they do.

Nothing is unhackable, if someone can write the program, someone can unwrite it or at least get around it.
It just takes very clever people a very long time.
It will be cracked eventually but maybe when its already next gen, who knows? If I had nintendos money I would employ the best hackers(or people equally as knowledgeable) to work on it and im pretty sure they do.
To be fair I think as long as the console is current it should stay unhacked, as soon as its successor is out I think it should be abandonware and freely available.
I only download DS roms because they are available, retro roms are what i believe to be fair.

Just thinking though, wouldn't it be funny if it was cracked immediately.

Yeah I heard that Windows XP was hacked/cracked within 6 hours or something crazy like that. Though idk if OS are easier or harder to hack.

i know there was a working crack for Windows 7 3 hours after release...seems there weren't many changes after the final BETA. ::)

But it took 3 years to hack the PS3...

it's not like someone has a 3DS BETA to base their work off of for the main system...so doubtful

i can see it taking a shorter time than this...we are talking about Nintendo. ::)

But what about the risk of the hackers handing out the 3DS' 'key' to unlock it?
