There is nothing in stone for the 3DS as of yet. But with the declining sales, as previously mentioned, and the impending holiday markets, expect it to happen somewhat sooner than March of 2011. I lean toward late September/early November. Don't worry, you're not missing anything >.>

Nintendo forum says they would be releasing 3DS next year March. Digital Life interviewed them and is also reported on their newspaper.

wow, unhackable? i highly doubt that, if their other systems were hacked, what makes them think that the 3ds won't have the same fate? XD I'm just laughing at their ignorance. The hackers will found a way. They always have ahd always will. Nothing is unhackable, there is always is a back door to every program.

 

Sony thought the same thing about the PS3...and look at what GeoHot did. Unfortunately nothing really ever came of it yet...

 

And plus, the process he did to actually mod it was so incredibly complicated, he won't share it.

If we could have access to his blog, then you could read how to do it exactly...I don't remember where I read the entire process at, but it took a while to read and it was fairly complicated.
Having to solder different things.

 

I think it can be hacked because it has the function to install the game to its own Hard drive, if we tweak that function a little it may be possible to pirate.

 

You know that tweaking process could take up to months or even years

 

Idk why I never considered this, but it took a team to program it, so why can't another team "unprogram" it?

 

Guess we'll know when it comes out.

imo if the gba and nds could be hacked so will the 3ds
