3ds rom downloading issues

    Hi, this is a bit of a different topic but it still is about 3ds roms.

    So, I've downloaded the game Legend of Zelda A Link Between Worlds, for 3DS and I've extracted the file using 7-zip. I've copied it onto my r4-card and when I've gone to play it, (after creating a save file), a screen comes up with the option of "power on"/ "power off" and a blank window with a red X close sign.... I don't know if your understanding me, but I really want to play these 3ds games. Does it have something to do with an 'emulator' which I have no idea what that is...

    Please help!

    to my knowledge an R4 cannot play 3ds roms.

    Unless it's an R4i Gold 3DS Deluxe.
