3D Printing is a upcoming technology under development by many companies, the largest being MakerBotIndustries and MakerGear.com. 3D printing is a fairly simple concept, in which a extruder melts ABS plastic filament and dumps it on a build platform. The platform moves while the plastic is being extruded to "print" things in 3D. I got one of the first generation MakerBot Cupcake CNCs last year or something like that. While it does have a lot of problems(being a brand new technology)I think I am pretty close to getting it working enouogh where I can print object after object without have to stop and take everything apart to fix it.
