    The end in 2012 ? about bloody time it ends ! anyways we must consider technology in this issue. this is humanitys greatest tool. they already have those twin sats up there scanning the suns surface for anomalies. i got that info from a newsletter from the nasa.gov site. apparently its a ews for sun activity ! now all we got to do is work out how to negate or reflect that massive amount of solar radiation. yippee!

    Everything about 2012 being the end of the world is nothing but a misunderstanding of some sentences in the bible. In the bible, there is a sentence saying something about "the end of times",
    but what most people dont know is that the word "times" is really a mispelling of the word "aeon",
    which kind of mean the same, but with a different meaning as of what people think is the end of the world.

    actually its because the mayan calendar ends in 2012. the reason for that is probably because they were aware there was very little chance of their civilisation still being around by then and didn't see any point in continuing it beyond then.

    I don't believe any of these theories at all.
    The only place I have ever heard about them is on several poorly assembled websites and specials on the history channel (the likely source for the websites) and I might believe them if they were on more reliable sources, which can be hard to come by
