They found a maya calendar that stopped at 2012 but who says it has to be the end of the world then, maybe the maya's just were tired of cutting a calendar in a stupid peace of stone.
well when the end of the world comes, war will engulf the earth. seeing how monstrous my government is its a matter of time. all we need is a nucluer war which could happen soon due to the events of iran now and all these horrible laws and frauds are in place.
I think that U.S. Russia, Cuba, Iran and China should all be best friends so that we DON'T get into a nuclear war!

umm no the mayans were one of the most advanced civilisations of their time. 2012 has absolutely no connection with the mayans other than their calendar changes over to the next 'page'
It might in a few more thousand years... where a mega-volcano will cause a another ice-age and everything will die. At that point we might all be dead already.
