its alright =D its all in good fun. you should still read some of the stories even if they're silly. the other thing is that sometimes very highly unlikely things become true. thats why theres theoretical physicists still employed

yes, they will get bored and something like that. and yes they want us to listen to them.

 

Look at the evolution of the earth... the dinosaurs had to die in order for the mammals to lay dominant below the birds that pushed their evolution.... maybe its just the end of us humans

Please provide evidence for your claims!!!
The so called bad things do take place all at once, and they have been taking place all at once forever.
Nations have been at war since Nations exist.
Religion only delays progress, nothing else.
And if your gods will wipe us out just because they get bored, then they are evil and cruel, and don't deserve our attention.

 

hei Mark! i think you should watch discovery channel more..there is sooo many thing that can lead us to destruction..such as the collision of the earth and moon,black hole,sun supernova blow,*gasp*..even though you still not believes we may die because of god, scientist has proven that the earth still has it end about thousand years in the future..maybe it could end..now..or this year..you want proves? check the wikipedia i don't know how to make a link...if i am wrong please correct me...but if you really makes a researches about the end of the world you will found the end could happen anytime....

I do agree that there are many factors that could wipe us out of existence.
My point is that nobody knows when or how.

But nobody can say when, or how.
That's what i'm trying to get at.
All these people who claim it will be in 2012, or it will be because of an earthquake, or a plague of locusts, or because the Universal Association of Interstellar Deities got bored, are people who will believe anything that sounds cool and spooky, and nothing that took years of research.

well, all i can say is that. Those things I said was just a theory that my elders told me. and they know much about anything.

 

Were they the ones who told you that they know much about anything?
How do you know what they told you is true?
Have you ever tried to do your own research, and confirm what your elders tell you?

theories are meant to be proven but are still fun when they aren't. but honestly even theories have to be based off of some fact or speculation. nothing comes out of thin air. my theories were based off of summerian legends and actual stuff that has already happened to earth but in extremely over-proportionate states. I actually don't know why nobody has even brought up one of the most famous end of humans stories yet, the extremely awesome zombie apocalypse.

 

Not true. Once the Sun blows up, everyone dies. That's going to be 5000 years later. Or at least that's when humans (might) be extinct.
2012 phenomenon is a utter lie. The theories are debunked. Yet if that movie is true, we are all screwed.
