I would rather say they have absorbed the Movie too much, until they cannot make difference between reality and dream world.

Has anybody seen the movie acient aliens?
In this movie it is "proven" that there were aliens in the past. So maybe there were aliens that told that in 2012 there can come some sort of aliens

    This is what I think.

The topic is 2012. Did Mr Lennon speak of such things? Does it matter if he did? Why do people not talk about planets lining up? Why do people not talk about stars lining up? Are stars and planets getting into an interstellar boogie for 2012? Does anyone care if they are? Does anyone know if they are? Who let the dogs out(woof woof)?

hey prinnyhood, prinnydude or whatever you call it, i did not brought this atheism thing up to this 2012 topic. i was just reminded of him since they were talking about these stuffs. take a look at the previous posts, there are too much unnecessary posts, anyway you can talk about stars and planets lining up as much as you want.

you know what, you're right. i think we should put an end to this. Religious people doesn't understand science in the same manner that Atheists doesn't understand religion. or maybe they both understand too little about it. i'm going to make a new topic.

most atheists understand what religion is and whats its about, but they just dont see the point in it.

also religious people understand science as much as atheists, they just dont like when science questioning an imaginary being.. aka Evolution vs Creationism.

    I'm with you on that.
Hence my challenge to whomever believes in such things to present evidence, or at least a reasonable argument.

no one has ever did, or maybe only few of them. they keep on posting opinions without any reasonable argument.

Not going to end; It's the same as the millennium scare. And if it does end? Who cares, best get rapin' before it does!

I would just like to say. I used to be Christian, and now I am an Anti-Theist. I understand, completely the concept of religion, and I also understand the need for science. That doesn't make me a preacher nor a doctor. Just makes me understand that I am directly opposed to organised religion, but also in favour of people having their own belief (which, could be science is the answer to the mysteries of the universe). Conversely, there are many religious scientists, that clearly both understand a concept of science AND religion.

The debate is usually about the two complete opposing factions, and it's rarely the case unless it's sought. All in all, world != ending.
