special effects= aka 90% green screen movie :T saw amanda peet on the david letterman show the other night and she was talking about how literally that much of the movie is green screen and it is just all of them looking shocked and suprised at nothing .. director: "theres a falling monument over there! you are startled! , all of a sudden every bird in the world catches on fire! you notice and are startled!!" that kinda deal, i tend to stay away from those kinds of movies but since i really like john cusack as an actor i will probably see this movie.. when it is $1 at the value rent :I
Graduate into hell.....bwahahaha...But back on topic. For the ancient Mayan this would be a new year zero. The last year zero was made for the death of Jesus, not allot changed around that time, but take today and look back only 10 years, so much has changed. Allot more change will come in the next 10 years. This period of history will not be remembered like others as there is simply too much happening for future generations to remember, or decide what is worth focus. When today and yesterday and tomorrow become merged in the whirlwind of change we see happening now, a calendar seems a rather slow and unimportant thing. We could be heading into doom, we could be heading into a new enlightenment; in a post-modern world that is fed up with post-modernism, the new terminology could be carved out from distopian rocks by distopein leaders, or realised by those blessed with non-economic wherewithal. The times 'they are a changin'; perhaps too fast for most of us to keep up. If only time could tell.
Hell is 1000000 km under the earth. HoW CaN yOu Go ThAt dEep? If it's gonna be the fnd of the world and everyone sees it.... We're all screwed. No matter where we end up. Heaven or Hell, we're all gonna die if this happens. Aye!!! Are you The DEVIL?! dammit....
Just a quick note: didnt people predict that the world would end in the year 2000(or was it 2001?), well... either that was wrong, or i'm dead and dont even know it But seriously, you people been watching that "2012" movie over and over again? Ok, this time is seriously serious... um... IF the world will actually end in 2012, then i doubt there's anything we can do about it... so just enjoy your life 'till then (and this part was serious!)
We Scots would just growl at the end of the world and call it mean names, and it would run away and hide under england...where do you think the big bang came from? It was a Scot glaring at the void, of course.
Oh it will, you can be sure of that. But yeah, no one knows when that will be. But the end of the world is something inevitable. You see, our sun is a star. And like all stars, it will die one day. When that happens, it's bye bye planet earth. Fortunately, we're still billions of years away from that. But that doesn't mean something else won't destroy our planet, or at least wipe out the human race.
