2012 The end of the world?

Actually the bug was real, it was just really over exaggerated on the effects side. All it was was that the computers could only change the first 2 digits so it would recognize as 1900 (Or so I have heard). Some people decided to spread word about how Russia might release missiles at that time, that is the fake part. Granted, I still agree that he was probably joking.


On a somewhat cool note, the D/M date organization will be 21/12.

 

We can't predict it. Why all of this is just made out. I'd rather not worry about it though even if there was some proper proof.

 

Well if we had experienced the apocalypse we wouldn't be here to remember it.

The date came from when scientists beleive these catastrophic events will take place. Eg The sun's storms are getting bigger and bigger and NASA beleive it will get at it's biggest in 2012. Because they beleive it's already well and truley overdue to happen. They don't know 100% that it is going to happen on this year. What they do know is eventually it will.

With the super volcano it's also well overdue to errupt and it's only a matter of time before it does.

Also they believe Planet X will aventually enter our solar system as it is getting closer to earth. Which could result in one of two things, in a very rare case there could be a planetary collision or Planet X missing earth and bombarding the earth with meteors that it's gravitational pull has brought with it from it's journeny to our solar system.

This date is the result of research on these three things and how they are behaving now. They can only estimate when this will happen. You never know they could be completely wrong. Only one way to find out heheheh ;D

 

Hm, i was wondering about the next ice age... if there is another ice age, that would mean that there will be more ice in the world? Would that cancel global warming?

I dont believe in this crap. I dont believe we will die because it says so in the calender. We don't even know if the Mayan calender ended because the world was gonna end. Who knows, the calender might have ended for a positive reason...

 

The world is not gonna "end". Humankind may end. All living things may end....but the world will not. It will keep on spinning just like it has done for millenia before us..and will do for millenia after us.

 

It doesn't say so in the callendar at all. Scientists have just come to this conclusion after the research they have carried out. It's all really just an estimation.

People have come to the theory that the world may end because of the mayan callender ends on this date. No one knows what will happen or what this means.

 

maybe all those unknown sculpted monuments, such as stonehenge or those stone heads in one of the south american countries [Moai statues of Rapa Nui], will become active. stonehenge will shoot a beam of light into the air where possibly an unknow portal opens revealing the ultimate doom emerging from the portal. those stone heads will grow into big moving objects. maybe and just maybe, we may find out if there really is a secret organization that hides the specially gifted.

 

well I DON"T KNOW XD but honestly just don't worry and hope if anything happens it's gonna happen it happens super fast so there is no pain

 

Well we can predict one thing.
That the world will end, in millions of years when the sun expands in its dying years, becoming a super giant and engulfing and thus destroying all the inner planets of the solar system

 

He also predicted the world would end in 2004 if I'm thinking right (It's in the 2000's though, and it passed already)

 

our sun is too small to become a super giant, the way a sun becomes a super giant is it starts to run out of fuel and gets smaller and hotter as it gets hotter it (not gona go in to the technical side of it) starts to burn a different element and gets really hot and expands. but our sun is so small it won't start to burn that next element. our sun will die out and become a dwarf planet.

 

Well, by the time the world ends, currently all of us, will be dead, and so are the next generation, and their next generation, so forth.

 

Like that's useful. You can remember nothing if you're dead.

But that is subject for another kind of discussion.



I don't disagree, although it's hard to believe that I won't be able to drive if that happens.

Also, there is quite a big difference between the end of the World and the end of Life on Earth.

 

Are you dead? I didn't think so, so how can you know if you don't remember anything when your dead?

 

Because... you're dead. You're dead, you're not alive, your brain doesn't work, you can do nothing, how can you remember things?

You're brain is nothing more then a fragment of you Esca De voila. It acts as mortal connection, because its mortal it can die or get damaged. When you are dying you brain feeds the Esca De voila all the information it gathered.

I can't tell you anymore without getting in trouble.

 

Oh well... I think perhaps my other post said a little too much about the world crisis unfolding and it got deleted by a mod but I think people should know the truth for their own protection.
