If we all died in our sleep, but never knew when it would happen, the world would be wonderful

In my opinion, The End could come in any moment, so anything we can do ,is to accept it, and don't think about it. Thinking about the death itself is pointless, because it will happen to us all anyway, and why to make yourself sad for such a pointless reason?

    *ahem*

Probably said more than a few times, if the world ends there is nothing that can be done about it, there are plenty of other things to be concerned with other than some date. Supposedly the world was supposed to have ended numerous times in the past I don't see any difference now or in the future.

im against this, not because im forcing myself not to believe it though. its really a bunch of nothing. by the time its december, the stupid side of the world will be bankrupt and feeling regretful.

I myself don't care if it does end then. We have to live in the now. one thing i know is i will die one day we all will unless someone finds a cure for death(yeah right) . Well i figure i may as well breathe in the air, play the video games ect. If it ends an everyone dies well so be it not a thing this guy(me) can do. So i am gonna have fun live life an enjoy the time i have while i have it. Ive seen to many people waste there lives worrying about what could happen i use to myself but now it is time to live and enjoy what is the point in worrying about something you have no way of changing. ;)

there is no reason we should fear death. Everything dies, that is what define a living being.

yes, if it is we can't do anything about it
although there has been other theories in escathology, like nostradamus in 1999 and the supposed 'antichrist' roman caesar Nero or Mohammed, and those theories are all BS

    OMGGGG
You have to read 'The Lost Symbol' by Dan Brown
It explores all the concepts of religion and the theories about the apocalypse
and how the word was actually translated incorrectly and actually means 'revelation'
Because the apocalypse doesn't literally mean the end of the world, but the end of the world as we know it.
Because humanity will reach an enlightenment.

    haha
But most parts of it aren't actually fiction!
Just the storyline and some of the ideas,
    But the facts are real.
If you read the inside cover it states:
"All organizations in this novel exist, including the Freemasons, the Invisble College, The Office of Security, the SMSC, and the Institute of Noetic Sciences.
All rituals, science, artwork and monuments in this novel are real."

Okay, just really. People have said before that the world would end a lot of times, and they were wrong. Sure, everything dies eventually but an apocalypse on 2012? I just don't believe it and it just had to be December. My birthday's somewhere in December. Dx

I think it's interesting. But I don't think it's true. I think the earth still has years to come, though its lifespan doesnt seem very steady. California is getting fucking hot in summer, I think eventually global warming is just gonna screw us over and places like Cali are just gonna be in unliveable heat. Something like that, or we all get hit by Sephiroth's meteor lolololz.
Point is, I don't think its ending that soon, and if it does, then laugh at me. =D

Just because certain things are real doesn't make the foretell that the world is going to end in 2012 true. How does that fictional novel prove that the world is going to end in 2012, hmm?

    lol
If you read what I said before, I stated:
"Because the apocalypse doesn't literally mean the end of the world, but the end of the world as we know it.
Because humanity will reach an enlightenment."

I meant that the word 'apocalypse' isn't the correct term to use because it doesn't mean the 'end of the world' and the book proves that.
Because the world 'apocalypse' has been misinterpreted.

It doesn't mean that everyone is going to die, but our way of life would have changed. Pehraps by 2012.
    Who knows?

Of course the book is fictional, I'm not an idiot, but it DOES contain elements of fact.
    Have you read the book??

I don't know, should I believe it or not. It's just waaaayyy too big thing to think about now.
