Zoids Legacy Game Freeze

so,
I just downloaded Zoids Legacy. at the very beginning at the moment and it looks very cool. Anyways, I wasnted to customize my Zoid and saw that I could change the color, so immediately i clicked to change the color and sure enough! the game froze, and the no$gba emulator was accused of "stopping working" hah, idk how to say it. at any rate, even if i save it deletes the file. It's not necessary but i'd really like to change the zoid color.

btw, if anyone has any links to a forum topic with a problem like this, post it ya? Hah, i looked for a few minutes but meh, this seems slightly easier

 

Which version of no$gba are you using?
