Zelda Spirit Tracks Save Problem...can't restore my .sav?

My save corrupted but I can't restore my backup for some reason.

I have a FireCard (N-Card clone).

When I start the game, it says 'creating save file'.

Then, I'll turn off the system and replace the .sav with my backup one. The file is named that same as the one I'm replacing.

Then when i start the game again, it just creates a new file!

how do i restore my backup save?

 

Dose the name of your backup match the name of your rom?

 

Yeah. I've even tried .sav and .SAV, but to no avail.

It's like the game doesn't want me to add my save. It always overwrites the data with a fresh save

 

The ownly thing for it is to start again, and backup your saves all the way on your PC

Are backup games and saves, format your card and start again with the latst kernal from your website

 

That doesn't fix the problem though. I think it's game specific.

 

Try it with another game then.

 

It did the same process with Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time and it worked fine.

 

I'm assuming it's patched? Try backing up all your files, reformat your MicroSD, and re-install the latest firmware.
