Zelda phantom hourglass lags and freezes?

I use both No$Gba 2.5c and NO$GBA 2.6, zelda is one of many games i have downloaded and its fps such just lags and skips though some frames or plain freezes? i have set the nds backup media to everytype and the same results occur?

is this how it works for everyone, or just me.

I hope no problems with windows vista...

I got 3 gig ram
3 ghz cpu
145 gigabyte hard drive
and 32 bit operating system..

 

- Could be your technical specs. Share them, please.
- Could be your drivers. If you just changed OS, formatted, whatever, as it sounds you did, make sure you've updated drivers for your hardware.
- Could be the ROM. What version is it? If all else fails, try another version, or another dump/download. It could be a corrupt ROM.

Keep in mind that DS emulation is not perfect, and you shouldn't expect it to be for some time.

 

thats funny, phantom hourglass works ok for me, well the sound has static in it, but it pretty much works...

I dont know enough about the emulators to help. sorry.

 

Use 2.6a. Your specs are definitely good enough.
