Zelda PH > Use D-pad rom patch

    It is not for the english version, dunno if it will work with it though.
    If you want to see what it would be like to use the d-pad on zelda, try it out.
    I am not going to try though, because
    1. I am getting a real copy
    2. I don't know how
    3. I want to play it as it was intended to be played

    I am sorry if that is old, I don't have a clue :p

    My technical help question is:
    How do you patch a rom with this kind of thing?
    I would like to know the process of doing something like that

    Probably have to unpack the rom with something like DSLazy and then replace the file and repack. I dunno, I've never done this patch but it's worth a try.

    Well, that's what you do for the arm7 fix, so I though since the d-pad fix is a patch it'd be pretty similar.

    This is a 28k exe file, so I'm not going to run that for obvious reasons... Usually patches comes as a .ips file.

    i havn't downloaded that patch because i don't really want it,
    but i was wondering how to patch in general
