Zelda: Oracle of Ages and Oracles Of Seasons

I am a Dutch blogger and I write Dutch reviews of old games.
I was busy at a Zelda OOA and OOS review the other day and they are both awsome GBC games and ones of the best ever made for portable gaming. (on the gameboy, not GBA or NDS)

So my question is, which game do you like the most of these two and why?

 

As an unashamed Zelda fanboy I love both of them equally. But If I were given a choice I'd pick Oracle of Ages. It's more puzzle-oriented than Seasons (which is Action/Adventure oriented). Also, it's BIGGER than seasons, having TWO versions of the overworld. It reminds me of ALttP -which IMHO is the best handheld Zelda game. (I know it was a console game first but it seems to fit better on the portable)

 

A Link To The Past was original a SNES game but the remake came out in, I think 2005 with the enigne of Minish Cap.

Anyways, I can't choose. The puzzles in Ages or epic but being able to change the seasons is also quite nice

 

i cant choose i love them both but i found it odd that faore did get her own game din and nayru did

 

That was the original plan to have 3 games.

 

Seasons.

Ages had some annoying and tedious puzzles.

 

If I really need to choose, AGES

 

I would have picked Ages, but some of those puzzles were pretty annoying...

So with that, Seasons.

 

This discussion is going about wether you like action or puzzles... both games are the best on the system imo

 

I've beaten them both; I'm going with seasons. Mostly because Crescent island was a pain in the ass. I liked how seasons had an underworld as well.

 

Ages was more of an evil past instead of an underworld

 

there was meant to be a third game but got cancelled which is a shame

 

Yup, each one was to present a triforce piece but the new password system destroyed that idea

 

i know i bet faroes game would have been awesome

might be either but with the 3ds eshop update who knows whats on the horizon ?
