Zelda 2?

    Help!

    The hammer is in a place where it's too dark to get it, meaning I need a candle. The candle is in a place blocked off by a boulder, meaning I need a hammer.

    How do I get the hammer and candle?

    Considering you're talking about Zelda 2, you either use a walk through, or struggle through. Helpful tips don't exist since they just sort of solve the problem for you the way a walk through would. Just search for keywords in a walk through.

    for the candle be in Parapa Palace
    and to get it you have to take the life of something.

    Yeah, that's helpful. There's no way for me to get to Parapa Palace without the candle so I can get the hammer so I can get to Parapa Palace.
