I have the updated firmware on R4, English version 1.18 but when I try to start Yume Neko it just shows up as a white screne, is it only me? How can I fix this?

If this is a new release then chances are it may not work yet.

It's probably uncompatible with the latest firmware, wait for a new version.

thanks for the reply, now I have to wait :(

On that note, is it normal to get the "thank you for playing" message from FF:CC ring of fates even after I updated my firmware?

No, the "Moogle of Death" screen was fixed in v1.15 or v1.16. You might not have updated your firmware correctly. You need to overwrite the previous firmware files with the new ones.

mm isn't it just replace the old system file with the newer ones? Or do I have to reformat my SD card as well?

That's what I just said, overwrite the previous files with the new ones. No, you don't have to reformat you MicroSD, only if you have a freezing problem.

Funny thing happened when I did that, Pokemon Pearl that used to work didn't anymore (white screen). And Ring of Fates is still not working. What am I doing wrong? I cleared out everything in my SD card, and then added the _system_ and Moonshl (whatever the name is), and the other files that's in the zip file. I don't know what's going on?
