When ever i try to start a duel or story mode the screen goes black. Does any one have any idea what i can do to fix it

 

First you'll have to tell us how you are trying to play the game. Are you using an emulator or a flashcart (on your DS).

It's the anti-piracy codes inputted into the game by Konami. It's the same patch that makes it work on an emulator or a flashcart. I didn't patch one yet so I wouldn't know how to actually go about helping you because I'm quite busy at the moment as well. But someone here will help you.

Having a similar problem with No$gba. The game seems to work on DesMume but runs extremely slowly. I tried doing the anti piracy patch myself on the rom but it still crashes whenever I get into a duel on No$gba. I want to run it on No$ so if anyone can post any possible fixes, it would be very much appreciated.

I'll post any other information about the errors if needed.

 

I too have been having a problem with this. I usually can get into it for about 3 minutes before the game freezes. I don't see a black screen.

I'm using an Acekard2i w/AKAIO(Or something along the lines of that) from when spirit tracks just came out.

 

Make sure you're using the 2.6a version with no$zoomer 2.3.0.2.

 

I've tried using no$gba 2.6a with no$zoomer 2.3.0.2 and it's the same problem. In I'm dueling in story mode, the rom crashes on the 2nd turn of the duel.

 

I am crashing using those programs

 

Try to tinker around with the EX option.

If it still crashes, the emulator may not be able to support it
or wait for some update in the near future.

 

I'm using M3 and it freezes up after I select story mode/new game. Any known method of fixing that?
