Xenogears, strange graphics

This wasn't the best place to take the picture, but it shows the issue. All the characters, and that statue, are cut into fourths.. like a cross. From everything I've looked at ~ that isn't normal. I'm running the game on epsxe 1.7 and am using the same video plugin and config as the second poster has here: https://www.romulation.org/forum/index.php?topic=11990.0

Can you think of anythign I can do to fix this visual.. thing? I'm not really good with configs.

 

Crosses heh..... Maybe God's calling you? Errr... Anyway, PM TirithRR, he knows alot about configuring your graphics plugin.

 

I tried that on a seperate occasion, but not sure if the message sent or not ~ for a different problem. The graphic.. distortion is minor at best and the game is certainly playable. I'll try him again, thanks for the tip.
