Xenogears is corrupted

I think RomU's Xenogears is corrupted.I tried to play it on PSXeven and when it crashed in the beginning-when that main guy fighting with his friend in a village.He took break than i moved him around and the game crashed.

 

Have you tried it with ePSXe 1.70?

 

Then what's the problem?I can play other PSX games without a hitch.Please help, as i have never played it when it first came out.I recently heard that it has the most philosophical and the deepest story ever conceived in video games...If nothing can help,i would gladly read an essay on it.

 

You can use ePSXe 1.70.

It's one of the best emulators available for the computer.

 

Emulators are not perfect, some work well with some games, while not with other games.
I know that Xenogears works well on ePSXe 1.7.0 with Pete's OpenGL2 plugin, default "Nice" settings. I have played it, not finished, but played it pretty far.
