im just wondering if i should buy this game?
im into rpgs but i like old games better than the new stuff, what i really want is a ff7 remake but thats not gonna happen :(
i recently bought infinite undiscovery and i really dont like the game.
i also have lost odyssey which is ok but not a game im really enjoying
has anybody played all 3? how does last remnant compare?

Ok,I played two of those and I get why you didn't like infinite undiscovery since it's not what you expect from square,it's hard and boring a bit.
As for the last remnant,it's a very good game, turn based battles, but has this twist where your team is made up of groups. It has a good story where a guy living in the wilderness and has scientist parents looses his sister.
If you're into turn based rpgs even if they turn to real time(kind of strange I know)then get this but if not don't.
By the way,it comes in the form of two discs if I remember correctly.

The Last Remnant is pretty unique. You don't gain levels, rather you gain stats depending on how you're fighting the battles and how tough the enemies are. You also have a battle rank in the victory menu that increases after you fight enough battles and the monsters get more powerful as this goes up. I'd highly recommend looking up a Stat grinding guide if you're planning to do everything in the first playthough and even then, I'd still recommend it so you don't end up being underpowered when you get up to certain story battles.

You also only really have to set up equipment for the main character Rush. Everyone else takes materials you get from after the battles to upgrade theirs and they'll occasionally ask you if they can borrow something from you or if you can go material hunting. You also get some say in how your characters develop since they'll occasionally ask you for advice on areas they should focus on.

It's not a bad game at all. Judging from your interests though, I'm not really sure if you'd like it or not. You might want to consider a rental before taking the plunge on it.

DO. NOT. BUY. THIS. FOR. XBOX. Seriously, it is terrible on the Xbox 360... The PC verison outshines it by far.
