Xbox 360 Rrod Problem

    My Xbox 360 got 3 rings but i put it in loads of covers for 3 hours... but then it worked :D:D:D i was so i happy i just started but electric went so i went back on and my rod is back!!!!!! now i rapped it again and left it on for about 7 minutes atm can someone help?

    2 of mine did it a couple of times, its dead, time for a new one.
    If its not under warranty you can always try the various methods on youtube.

    I would personally recommend not trying to "fix" it. It'll just make it worse. Just send it to M$.

    You're making the problem worse. The reason you get the RROD is because the GPU comes loose from the motherboard because the thermal paste that MS put on the Xbox is cheap, and the X-Clamps that hold the cooler aren't strong enough. Buy a RROD fix on Ebay for like 7 bucks and you can fix it quite easily, I fixed my old 360. That's if you don't have warranty with Microsoft. Microsoft has extended their warranty for RROD to 3 years from the time you bought it.

    well x clamps that video is right i geuss i know how to fix it now i use heat tricks i fixed it again hopefully pernamnt also it ran out of warranty and what shud i do to stop it for atleast my birthday (25 sep) so im kinda go a broken pad ive bene looking for my black bad

    You will never fix it permanently with "heat tricks" The only thing you are doing by overheating it is making the Xbox think the problem is fixed, so the RROD lights go away, but the problem is still there. You will get the RROD again soon unless you replace the X-clamps with bolts and you apply new thermal paste to the GPU and CPU. It's very easy to do.
