Could somebody tell me why my ePSXe recognizes every button but the down direction on my left stick? I'm thinking it's got to be something with the emulator because my controller works just fine with all my other emulators, just not the one for playstation.
Have you got the right configuration set up with it? I use the latest Lilypad plug-in and I configured it myself, it works great. I've just fixed my PC so if you're having problems fixing it then I guess I could upload my config file for you.
Well first of all wouldn't Lillypad only be good for if you're playing Frogger? ;v) LOL No seriously, I'm using the microsoft software for running it. Although I do have another one like XBCD.
From past experience with the MS plug-in it only works well with official PC games designed for it. Lilypad is a drive plug-in thing that I use on a PS2 emulator and I believe there's an ePSXe version. Basically, just try to use a different plug-in and _MAKE SURE_ to configure your controller in the emulator.
No, the software I'm talking about is the kind that is the "driver" for it. You know, like we've got sound card drivers, video card drivers, well think on this as a controller driver. My only problem is that up until now all I had to install would be that and I could play all my old PSX games just fine. I'd like to know why it picked now to be goofy with me! UGH!
Well, the driver sounds fine from what you've explained, since you said it works with other stuff... Just sounds like the config is wrong..
No, I clicked in all the right little boxes and mashed all the correct corresponding buttons. I'm beginning to think my controller is on its last proverbial legs.
Use the latest version of epsxe. It was a bug in the program. The newest version fixes this. :/ [I had this problem once.]
