You've got both the right and left hand down pat, but it's a tad slow. I usually try and get a standard chord and melody down first so I can go a bit faster. For example, the piano section in THIS: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LVfH9M08nYM remix or the bubsy theme I put together consisted of only chords on the left and melody on the right. Not having to worry as much about hitting the correct notes can help you perform at a rate far closer to the original work. If you can't go fast like that yet, I suggest trying the "underwater" variation of the Mario World theme. It's slower and has a "waltz" rhythm pattern.
never thought of it that way, although with instruments you have to practice it to see if you have talent or not Post Merge: [time]1286386710[/time]
yeah talent is just a fancy way of saying your good. example Wow now there's some talent - same as saying Wow that was really good
Like loony said, talent is natural, you have it to start with. I learnt a skill by working hard and learning, I couldn't do shit for the first couple of weeks.
Honestly, your attempt to try and keep up with the speed is both admirable and doesn't work. Thus your timing is everywhere. The song is both suited to fast and slow play, I'd think that it'd sound better to your level at slower play, since you excelled when going slower. You got the notes mostly down, now it's just a case of perfecting and getting the timing correctly, so you've done half the battle. That being said, I don't mean to discourage you, it's just a case of needing a bit more practice with timing and speed.
Yes that's true. When I first started my typing course I typed letter before letter, now I type at almost 3 letters at once.
