after I stopped playing WoW, I got these emails from world of warcraft saying my account is suspended, may be permanently banned, found you selling your account etc. I clicked on the link to see if I can unsubscribe from world of warcraft but firefox reported it as a phishing site ( I can obviously tell by how they disguised the /account/support to battle-admin-login.com). does anybody else have the same emails and does anybody know how to stop this?
ignore them, they're trying to steal your account details. Report them as spam to your email provider. Blizzard would never send you an email like that.
Yes, Blizzard may have turned Prince Arthras Menethil into a heartless Lich King but they will never do that!
not much you can do except avoid and delete them... good job recognizing the fake (even though firefox told you) you might even wanna post the email on battle.net just to let everyone know
