YAY so my laptop had a fit with me, crashed, wouldnt start back up, then finally when it did it reformatted itself so yay ive lost all my data and work :| lucky most of it lives on the externals but there was at least 100gig of stuff on the HD which wouldnt fit on the external so thats gone.....fuck I hate computers.
theres a program called getdataback that might be able to help, do it now before the data becomes even more damaged.
Well at least it wasn't a hardware failure so it won't cost both time and money. My roomate knocked my laptop off of a stool that it was sitting on, breaking the hard drive and damaging the wireless card. Fortunately all that I use that computer for is to take it on campus and put ROMs on my DS, so all I really lost was few sets of notes and all of my DS ROMs.
