Wood r4 problem

I attempted to put wood 1.05 on my r4 sdhc but wen i try to load a game it just stays on a black screen. Does anyone know the solution to this problem? By the way i am using wood for clones.

 

I would format your sd card, and then put wood on.

Are you using the .nds version or are you completely replacing your old firmware?

 

So between the iEdge and the Acekard 2i, which one is better for Dsi XL?

That is, just for games and no homebrew, video or music.

Well there's your problem. The R4 SDHC is a R4 clone, and Wood R4 doesn't work on clones. You have to use the clone version (where you boot it from a .nds file with your original firmware). Get the clone version 1.05 from here.

Now that is thread jacking. Just rename the files from blahblah.sav to blahblah.nds.sav. Now next time, first search the forums (your question is answered loads of times in various threads) and if you don't find the answer, create a new thread.

i have r4i sdhc (r4rts.com) i get struck on a purple loading screen....help please...
want to try wood r4 :'(

 

And, where is the purple loading screen? Is it when you turn the DS on, or when you try to load a game?

 

Everytime I load a game, the game say that cannot access save file, please restart game and reinsert card and try again
