    Hi there,

I'm very new to all this, and when downloading winrar from your link in the tutorial, it said it was only a 40 day trial version.
Will I have to purchase this when the trial is up?

    Confused.com??

Or, search for and install 7zip. That's free and works perfectly with any compressed file out there.

Or search for the cracked installer from torrent or metacrawler.

What? You don't need a cracked exe version of this program to run.

-You only need a registry file (license file of WinRAR) that you put in the applications directory for it to stop the nag screen.

-the OP seems to be okay with the program's nag screen.

Much easier and safer just to get 7-zip.

If your ok with the program nagging you-stick to winrar.

If your sick of the message-or you have something "unexpected" like me, go 7-zip.

(Apparently you can keep using it past the expiry date-but my first download of it stopped working after 40 days-the second stayed on but got sick of the warnings-depends if it's from the site I guess)
