WinRAR on Linux?

    I tried to get a program called HyperGTS. It was a .rar file. Ark won't recognize .rar, so I had to get WinRAR. I tried the Linux version, but it wouldn't run. I tried the Windows version under Wine, and it didn't work. How do I fix this, and if I can't, who has a link to get what I need?

    rar has always worked when I have used it. Are you using a distribution specific binary?

    I don't know. The Linux distribution in this case is Kubuntu 10.10 if that's important.

    I got WinRAR from the official website.

    I got HyperGTS from a PokeCommunity.

    then you aren't using a distro specific binary. try installing it through your distribution's package manager.
