    Hello...

Everytime I open Windows Explorer with any folder, it gives me this messages:
"To provide better security for your computer, Windows has ended Windows Explorer." - Or something like that.
    Then it says:
"An error has occured in explorer.exe and it needs to be closed."

    Any way to fix this?

Then it gives the same error.

I noticed it only occures in my "Alles" folder.
I can browse my D:\ drive without any errors.
Also "My Documents" is no problem.

Have you tried "using your brain"

    Try a scan with Malwarebytes.

back-up and reformat.. is your anti-virus avg? if you scan your comp using it, it wont detect any thing, so try something like Kaspersky. its a virus. i had that one with my flashdisk and i cant get my files from it using my computer and autoplay., so i use explore and save all the files inside to my desktop and reformat my flash disk. its ok now but when i use it to other comps and back to my comp, the virus is detected again and just did it all over again...

    Yes.
That's what I think. When I get on again, I will scan my computer.

I saw this on a friends computer, basically something is causing explorer.exe to act in a "dangerous" way and windows closes it to protect itself. more than likely you have a virus that starts every time that explorer.exe starts. normally I would do a registry dive and look for something that is set to start with Explorer.exe but that is something I wouldn't recommend if you can't read and understand the registry (there are many things that are supposed to start with Explorer so finding the bad one isn't easy). so I guess you could try MSconfig (ctrl alt del > task manager > new task > msconfig and see if you can find anything suspicious there (once again be careful)

Otherwise, or if you don't feel confident in messing with the registry, I recommend the Three "R's" of Windows.
    1: Reboot
    2: Reformat
    3: Reinstall

Run --> type in 'cmd' --> type in 'chkdsk X:/F' , X being the main hard drive with your OS on it (primarily C, or D). Usually when something is corrupted in a folder and I try to access it, the computer implodes (not actually, it just resets itself on the spot), and I can't access the area until chkdsk is run. Alternately, if you DO have a virus, I suggest you run Windows in Safe Mode, and run a program called 'SmitfraudFix'. It specializes in malware, and completely wiped my computer of malware when I needed it to.

latest version of Smitfraudfix here: http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix.exe

well how many videos, and how big are they? it might not be able to display the entire thing if your computer can't handle it.

    Around 300GB-400GB,
But, strange though, it doesn't happen to another drive with videos that has same size with the folder in another drive.

chkdsk the drive with the faulty folder. maybe there's a corrupt file.

Oh that, just change the view option on the folder as quick as you can when you open it (list view so it doesn't thumbnail the files) that error happens because the video files are encoded in a way that windows likely doesn't have a driver to properly read them, and because of Vista/7's protection schemes it see's an string of code it doesn't recognise as "safe" and closes the program to protect itself. yeah that seems like a good thing but can be quite annoying... and the other side of it is that it was intended to stop hackers. (lot of good that did huh?)

^ that could be it. I stayed on XP, so I'm unfamiliar with all the bullshit Vista (and partially 7) users have to deal with.

ALL my drives do that, even the external drive.

    On this laptop it doesn't.
