Users of windows 7 and windows server 2008 R2 are being warned not to install a security fix provided through windows update, and to uninstall it if it is already installed

the update in question, KB2823324, is supposed to fix a security flaw in a windows kernel mode driver, however it has been found to cause serious problems including breaking third party antivirus programmes and preventing windows from booting successfully.

Damn! I guess I was too late when this shiznit happened. Now that I get this I have downloaded the update a few weeks back and then I receive unwanted ads. I only get those pop ups if I use the internet. But I still get annoyed by them.
