Windows 7 is just under 2 weeks away from launch, and I'm getting my upgrade from HP! I tried the beta and the Release candidate and since I got a premium rapidshare account, I could download builds past the beta and the RC which are known as post-beta and post-release candidate builds. I don't have windows 7 at the moment but I'm geting my HP windows 7 home premium upgrade during November due to the fact that HP can't make the DVD's until Microsoft have launched it to the public. Are you looking forward to windows 7?
windows 7 is amazing, i cant wait to pirate the release version. from then on i will be triple booting windows 7, vista and XP. and soon i'll be adding ubuntu
Its called RTM, theres no release version until 22nd of october. Although release is no different to RTM really.
it will be lot better than vista thats for sure... i thougt i will be more compitable for xp software than vista
Windows 7 is pretty cool, it is a big improvement over Vista. Still has all the eye candy but doesn't hog so many resources. Microsoft did release to the public free beta & release candidates for testing. I have run both and enjoyed them but unfortunately they didn't agree with some of my software (Avast free/home ed, daemon tools lite and a few others).
mac users which still use paralells are surely happy now, 'cause win 7 is indeed much faster then vista ... Yayyyy... ;D I haven't got the new windows by now, but I will be able to check it out on a friends pc. I never really warmed towards the windows GUI design, but ... that's accidental I guess ... As long as the system is faster, less bugy and doesn't take that much space! THe software - problems might be the downer ---
Oh yeah, I'm lucky that students in my campus can get the license free from the MSDN program. Does it have compatibility problems with third party softwares?
