i was about to install WindowBlinds but i saw somewhere that people said that it contains reboot-BC. what dos reboot-BC do?, and is there any other program like WindowBlinds?
Why are you installing WindowBlinds? It's really crap, I tried it once. Loonylion agrees. Are you using it to install themes or boot screens or login screens etc.? If you are, go to http://www.themes.belchfire.net/, they have a program on there that does that. Not too sure on what reboot-BC is though. Try googling the name.
im trying to get a vista look with out the vista transformation pack,theres something wrong with the link you gave.
Ah okay, I used to use the Vista Transformation pack, but now I just use Vista icons and Vista theme.
vista transformation pack dos something to system files and i dont want that plus i herd that you have to do a system restore to get the xp look back
I used windows blinds for a few weeks, but after it crashed my laptop everytime I opened my abode programs I had to give it the boot. Im not sure on any other skinning programs.
wincustomize/logonstudio is what i use. i got FF8 to boot up where the windows xp screen usually is and i got a xbox360 logon screen.
i used windowblinds to create a few themes, but i agree - it does take a massive performance hit. don't even try and get used to it, either... at the time,though, i was desperate to get rid of the windows xp fisher price theme (the stock one), so i've settled with the media center edition theme.
www.crystalxp.net Lot of Vista Transformation packs their, I agree Windows Blinds is crap. It does slow your computer. I heard my friend got is Windows corrupted using Windows Blinds.
