ok my anti virus just found win32/induc in a program called gamebooster. i read up on the virus and its suppose to be a problem for developers, but a few days ago the program did not have the virus so could it have gotten infected on my end? im doing a virus san now to see if it shows up any where else. what dos this virus do to your computer exactly? and why did the avg only notice it today when i been useing the program for weeks?
i scanned and it was not found any where else, they say its aimed at developers, it secretly infects there codeing and the dont know about it, they also said that it pretty much dos nothing but infect, so it dose not delete files or any thing
Win32/Themida ok im combineing posts here to save space. my antivirus just detected Win32/Themida in syswow64 folder(which i never noticed untill now) in a file named gamemon.des. it was moved to the virus vault. iv did some seaching and some say its game DRM thats harmless and should not be removed. is this ture? and should i put it back adn what dos the virus do? vista home pre x64
I encountered that too! I used AVG at that time but I didn't find it in Game Booster (whihc is really useful), I found it in IOBit's 360 Security (Beta). SO since this harms developers, I don't really care. I think IOBit has files that makes AVG detect as a virus of some sort!
