hi my comp is really slow and i was thinking if counterstrike source can run on my comuter.
    here's my system.

    System:
    Microsoft Windows XP Professional
    Version 2002
    Service Pack 3

    Computer:
    Intel(R) Pentium(R) III
    Mobile CPU 866MHz
863 Mhz, 256 MB of RAM

if my computer can't, what other fps games are good for my computer?

Your laptop (I am right-am I?) is a bit weak...it MIGHT play but unless I know the specs I don't know for sure.

My laptop would eat yours though-it does resident evil 5-on low but it does it :)

I'm guessing you downlaoded this-if you bought it then box specs would help...

Try googling "pc requirements for counter strike"

That's what I did for resident evil 5.

    Other fps...

Could try getting epsxe and run some playstation games-disc or those from here-medal of hour is ok-might be more...

Or-try doom or quake-they WILL run-provided you don't get doom 3 or quake 4 XD

    Your kidding?

If not for these games there wouldn't be sooooo many good fps.

Demons and monsters and even cyborgs-what more could you want?

Quake 1 had zombies...only explosives killed them.

They may be old-but they can be fun-and can be small-quake one is about...60mb at max?

I miss doom 2...I winder how I lost it?

BTW-there is homebrew ports of these for psp and ds-also worth a look if you want them portable :)

With your specs, CS: Source would be very slow.

... sorry don't have any recommendations

Actually, they should work just fine...
My processor is only at 700mhz, and just a little more ram than you, and it runs full speed on mine

Should get about 20-30 fps or so. Should only really affect you if you want to start playing competitively in a clan.
