so my brother is going to send me bioshock and oblivion but when i checked the system requirements lab it said it will not run because i don't have hardware T&L and vertex shader. i have fable which it said it will not run because you need vertex shader but i can run it just fine it's just that i need to lower down everything to lowest. is the requirements lab cheating on me? will these games still work even if i lower the settings to lowest? oh and don't say to upgrade your whole video card because i have integrated GPU and cannot upgrade my video card.

It depends if bioshock allows disabling hardware T&L.

Its not an upgrade really, you just have to buy a video card

    Means you got a laptop...

Please display your pc's specs, if they are clsoe to mine, it might run...

If your getting it for free, it's worth a shot as it won't cost a cent, if it's paid for..save your cash just incase.

integrated gfx mean nothing if you have a tower pc it should have a slot for a gfx card.

just try the game as you said fable works. when my old pc sucked i still played games way beyond the ability that it was meant to be able to.

the thing about system requirements is that they are for it to work just right on an average setting, if you drop all the setting the games will work but you may or most defiantly lag when you have allot of enemies about.

    1.I do not remember

2.I don't like searching back topics

3.My memory isn't that great with pc specs...I often forget mine and only remember parts of the specs of my own :(
