Will save files from an R4 SDHC work on an Acekard 2i?

    My daughter is upgrading from an R4 SDHC to an acekard 2i and I was wondering if the save files she already has can be used on the acekard as she doesn't want to start all the games from the start.

    Yes. You may have to convert them.

    The AKAIO 1.5 firmware defaults to using the same naming structure:
    GAME.NDS
    GAME.SAV

    The official Acekard firmware defaults to
    GAME.NDS
    GAME.NDS.SAV

    So you may need to rename the save file accordingly.
