ok I have a serious problem...
my smaller brother has updated our wii and now we can't play any downloaded games anymore...
anyone knows how to fix this without the homebrew channel
    Thanks

You'll likely have to do the Homebrew channel thing.

I've never done it, so I can't tell you exactly. But there are a handful of Tutorials in the Tutorial Section dealing with it.

if you have updated to 4.2 you have to do the "bannerbomb" hack ive successfully done this on 2 wii's

I've never had this but first ALWAYS make sure you have at least BootMii or something on your SD.

    Also have Homebrew channel.
    Then take the tutorials.

Also HOW can't you play burned games?

    So you haven't fixed it?

    What firmware do you have?
Go through my thread and see what you can do.
You can install the Homebrew Channel if you have the original Brawl game disc.

How do you play the downloaded games?
By burned disc or USB or SD?
    I need more info please.

I play them on burned disks
    and my version is 4.2E

Then, if it's just 4.2E, then follow the 4.2 guide on my soft-mod info thread.
    It's not that hard.
Just install the Homebrew Channel and then you can use DarkCorp to play burned discs!
Also, I would suggest using StartPatch to block Wifi and disc updates.

oh and where can I download it????

    I don't recommend it.
    I would use Priiloader.
There are extra steps before you install Priiloader though. It's MUCH better than StartPatch. Just forget I said anything about it. :p

for playing your wii games i would recommend neogamma as darkcorp replaces of your internal wii files

    So?
It has LITTLE change of damaging it.

I'm gonna install it on my friends Wii if I get a change.

    Yeah.

You need to replace the internal files on your Wii to even begin soft-modding. It's the same thing. :p

Plus DarkCorp is WAY better than NeoGamma. It has more compatibility and you just stick the disc in and launch it from the disc channel.

i suppose but when i tried to install darkcorp it failed. like when i put in my disc it just said failed to read it like it would normally do on the wii disc channel. But neogamma sounds cooler than darkcorp :p

Did you put the load of wad files on the root of your SD Card?
If not, then that's the only way DarkCorp won't install on your Wii. :p
