WII ROMS.............

hello guys............this prob aint posted in right room but im sure some kind moderator will move it for me!!!!

im getting my WII chipped next week and was wondering how i go about downloading and copying any roms i can get, do i need any programs etc etc............or can i put them straight onto an SD card and play them from there........????

any help or thought will be greatly received.......many thanks in advance......harry

 

You cant start the Roms from a SD-Card. Just download the ISOs from sites like www.wii-reloaded.ath.cx and burn them on DVD-R discs with a program like IMGBurn.

Do you HAVE to have your wii chipped in order to play from sd cards?

 

You cant play from SD-Card anyway!
You can start virtual console games and channels from SD-Card with the newest firmware but not any normal Wii-game.

 

you will also want to run the iso through some type of brick blocker before you burn it

it patches the updates and it also patches the region.

i download my game by using things like megaupload and megashares its easy buy an account then google the game you want and shove the word megaupload(or any of the similar file sharing site) and hey presto links to the file and you have a game in a few minutes.

or you can alternatively use torrents
