Wifi on Linksys e2000

Before I go any further, I DID use Google unsuccessfully for about 2 hours; I'm not being cheap and not lifting a finger to help my cause.
We used to have a Linksys router that actually had DS wifi. However, that one broke down a day or so ago, so my dad had to get a new wireless router, the Linksys e2000. How do I go about setting up wifi on it? I saw some reviews of how "oh, such and such got it that they can use their DS on the router I specified" but I found nothing, and I couldn't contact them at all. :( So! How can I hook my DS up to it? I downloaded some homebrew things that need the internet, and I obviously can't use them as it is.
When I tried to search for an access point, I got 2: one was like network or something like that, and the other was Guest. The first needs a WEP key, the second didn't. I tried using the 2nd, and when it did the test, it gave error code 53000. I looked it up, so please no complaints. I have Nintendo DS Browser, so I tried it out for the heck of it, and it said I needed some sort of password to use the Guest signal. How the heck do I get it to work?! I'm desperate!!

I just made a stunning revelation: e2000 is the same as WRT320N, just different packaging!! Still no help on connectivity, though. :(

Any ideas? Google is fruitless for me. :(

Is there any feasible way through any homebrew app to get the WEP key? I know there is at least one that says, oh, here are some options for wifi hotspots, but this one has a password. Well, actually, I guess I should rephrase the question: Is there any homebrew for the DS Lite that is still available to get the correct WEP key? I reword cuz I know about all the legality. The only time I wanna use it is to find the password I need for my dad's wireless router (I tried using the homegroup password, it failed), so I can set up the wifi. If I ask my dad for the password, he'll get suspicious, cuz it's the same as his computer (actually, I think the wifi will come through his computer, cuz the signal detector in every ds said there was a user (which was locked) and a guest. The guest account is turned off, and I can't turn it on without suspicion)

I doubt the ds wifi chip has the right kind of operating mode to attack a wifi network.

Grr looked on youtube, and found some directions for windows 7 (the system I'm using), but when I got lucky that the computer was unlocked, I didn't find the symbol. According to the video, there should be a small icon showing the network details on the lower right. No luck. I tried opening the Network and Sharing Center to find the WEP key, an had no luck :(

You posted that in an other topic...

    You have the instruction booklet?

It can help you with doing it from your computer.

I just wanted a useful way to bump it if there was any way to help it.
I have no clue where the instruction book is. I can look online, and pray for results
