Wifi on a ROM?

Just a simple question, does the wifi feature for DS games work when playing a rom on the R4? If so, if it safe?

 

Yes, I play my ROMs online all the time, but I did have a problem once with a bad ROM not being able to get online with my flashcart, so I downloaded a better patched version of the rom and was able to play online with no problems, but I'm not sure if DS loca wifi works.

 

It will work for all roms without arm 7 patch

 

What is the arm 7 patch?

 

When you take a good arm7 frm a saving game and put that one into the game that doesn't save correctly.

DSLazy is an excellent DS rom patcher.

So the roms i have downloaded here won't work on wifi unless use an arm7 patch?

 

He said without - if the game works without you having to patch it, then WiFi will generally work too.

 

Ok thanks! Now i just gotta figure out how to get the DS to work with non-WEP encryption

 

You can't. At least, not with a DS Lite or original DS.
