Why Won't a 8 GB card work. And why does the old unit work better the the new

I have the new slim psp. I am running popsloader.prx and RUNNING system softwear 3.90 M33 I am having problems with some of the folloing games TonyHawks4, Rainbow6, ResidentEvil3, VirtualPool3 all the programs i have got to start up gets to main meun and then frezzes. I have only gotten two games to work on my psp and those are. ThemeHospital for my wife and GranTurismo2 on a 2 gb card. NOW taking these same settings copying the whole file over to a 8 GB card only one game will work at a time and the only ones to work it the same theme hospital and Granturismo but only one will work so u can only have 1 dl to the card and thats it.I am looking for suggestions and answers as well ty for the help. AKA Justin

 

First off what brand are your cards?

Second, try updating your PSP to 4.01 M33-2, that should fix any compatability issues. also try reformatting your cards using the PSP.

Im running CFW 4.01M33-2 with an 8GB sandisk produo on a PSP slim and Lite and ive had no problems.
