Why is the new Zelda game not working ???

    I'm be grateful if anyone could shed some light on this for me. I downloaded the Japanese version of Zelda the Phantom Hourglass but it doesn't seem to work. When I run the game I'm just prompted with a black screen with some Japanese text. Anyone else having this problem ?

    Are you trying to emulate it or run it on a flash cart?

    If you run it on a flash cart you'll need to update your firmware so it will accept 2mb saves.
    If you emulate it you'll have to increase the save type to 2mb flash. (called backup media in no$gba)
    I'm not sure if 2mbit is even an option though.

    I updated the firmware on my SC and it did not work still. It loads and then has the white screen of death?

    Could we get a step by step tutorial on this?

    Yes! I got it working on my R4
    I just had to update its firmware to the newest one available and it works.

    ...only thing is now I'm stuck because I cant read Japanese...

    Carlson: No one says the super card can even play it, it's a slot 2 solution, the compatibility rate of a slot 2 solution is lower than that of a slot 1 solution. In either way, I do not have any knowledge of how to get Zelda to work on a super card.

    Where did you find the ROM for the new Zelda? And what is the firmware your talking about? Did you update the firmware on the R4?

    I know its not exactly import friendly but I'd love to try out the controls on it.

    Heres the link for the newest firmware, allowing 2mb saves, which allows you to play Zelda PH on R4.
