i reckon they should,it would even be ok if they used n64 graphics

 

Who knows, maybe if it's a flop it wouls spoil the smash bros name. Nintendo wouldn't want to risk that. But thats just a guess...

Because people playing pokémon fills up Nintendo's servers, making every other online game impossible to be played.

 

That's what I thought would happen if they didn't think it through properly. Hopefully they will take it slowly and consider customer input before they release it.

There's nothing wrong with the D-Pad...
Anyways, I took a look at both those Homebrew DS Smash Bros Games, they have the potential to be cool, but they have all these retarded characters, like Kratos, Neku, and Sora.
Anyways, a DS Smash Bros would be pretty sweet.

Another reason why they won't bother.

They already made a brilliant game of the like.

 

The only one of those home brew games that actually worked was probably Clash.nds and to be honest i could not see the player i picked out or here any sound efffects or take any control of any of the characters sure the fighting worked and everything the other game on the other hand gave me more characters to choose from and a way of controlling them but no other opponents when i picked them out and fortunately no life counter, and only 2 stages to pick from while the first one clash gave me a wide range of stages to pick from.

That joke would have been infinitely funnier if the DS had a joystick.

Moving on, the DS is at the end of its days. If nintendy hasn't made one yet, they won't make one PERIOD. Maybe you'll get a 3ds one that looks like melee, or hell, even brawl.

 

Personally, The D-Pad is awful for the DS.

 

I'm not so sure about clash, but all of the other super smash bros projects were abandoned.
