Why English people don't get Dutch jokes and visa versa

I asked many times myself:
"When I make a good joke that WORKED by (eg) a Dutch person, why english people don't laugh?"

And why people form the Netherlands don't laugh with some of the joke of Belguim.


So, why do you think?
What is the reason? Even after translate!

 

They didn't understand a single word you said. Simple as that.

 

I think becasue the humor
is different by nation and nation

I made an example
You laugh when I wrote:
"a man enter in a cafè...
..splash"


and if I wrote
"if you have five apple in a hand
and 3 in the other hand. what you got?"
"big hands"

If it's aimed at a perticular joke, even if they understood it, they may not find it funny.


Like blonde jokes and me, I seriously don't find them funny, no such thing as a real blonde around here.

Im from holland and i live in belgium. People like jokes about dutch people. But the most popular jokes are about Moroccans.

Anyways,

If the joke is said in real-life, you know how it's said. If you do, you mostly laugh. If you don't, you mostly think ''Yeah.........".

Everyone who enjoys humour is schadenfroh. It's just what they like to poke fun at are different.

In America, if you make Asian jokes in front of a white audience they call you racist, unless you tell them that you're Asian. Make those same jokes in front of an Asian audience and they just crack up.
