Everytime I click the Run CDROM, I always get this:
"ePSXe.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

    Got any solutions?

    What version of ePSXe?

What is your CD Plugin, and it's settings?

    The version is 1.7.

My CD plugin is P.E.Op.S CDR Driver 1.4.

    Configs are:

    Interface:W9X/ME- ASPI scsi commands
    Drive: [0:1:0] Drive D:
Read Mode: BE_1 (ATAPI SPEC 1)
Caching Mode: Async Read- faster, additional asynchronous reads

Try a different plugin. Personally I use ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.7.0 without any real issues.

Alternatively, use a program like ImgBurn and rip an ISO copy of your CD, and play that. (It's faster anyway, since using a CD introduces lag into the loading process, while loading off the Harddrive is much faster).

    What?

Download and install the program "ImgBurn"

Put the CD in your computer.
    Run the program "ImgBurn"
Click "Create Image File from Disc"

Select your drive the CD is in.
Select a destination and file name for the ISO.
    Start the ripping process.
About 10 minutes later, you have a copy of the CD on your computer, ready to run in ePSXe without need of the CD.

Gaddammit. What does the analogs do in Silent hill? can I use the Directional buttons instead?

Silent Hill and Syphon Filter can be played using only the directional buttons as they are not analog exclusive just as most of the PSX games out there.
